Bullitt Football Academy off-season mirrors a Power 5 Division 1 collegiate football program. This 12 week program is highly structured and tailored to the specific needs and goals of the team. Here is an overview of what the BFA offseason program consists of.

At Bullitt Football Academy, our offseason doesn’t just mirror a Power 5 program—it is one, adapted for youth athletes who are serious about their future. This 12-week, full-scale system is built from the ground up to develop the total athlete—physically, mentally, and emotionally. It’s structured. It’s intense. And it works.
Every session has purpose. Every drill has a why.
We don’t train for the sake of training—we train for results.
Physical Development: Strength + Speed = Dominance

Strength Training
We focus on age-appropriate compound lifts—squats, cleans, deadlifts, bench—and power-based movements that build real muscle, functional power, and explosiveness. Our programming is phased for maximum development:
• Hypertrophy (muscle building)
• Strength (force production)
• Power (speed and explosiveness)
Conditioning
High-intensity intervals, sprints, circuits, and position-specific work ensure athletes are gassed in the fourth quarter—but not finished. We train for stamina, game-speed recovery, and durability under pressure.
Speed & Agility
Our speed program focuses on both linear burst and change of direction. From sled pulls and flying sprints to cone drills and reactive cues, athletes learn to move with power, react with speed, and stop/start like it’s second nature.
Skill Development + Football IQ
Bullitt athletes don’t just get faster—they get smarter.
Every week includes position-specific skill work, technique refinement, and simulated game situations. We break down film. We coach situational awareness. We train decision-making under pressure.
This is football prep the way it should be done. And it shows when the pads go on.

Recovery + Nutrition + Mental Edge
Recovery
We build recovery into the program—because if your body’s not right, the rest doesn’t matter. From structured rest and hydration to foam rolling, cold tubs, and mobility, athletes learn how to train smarter—not just harder.
Nutrition Education
We provide real guidance on fueling for performance—without overcomplicating it. Athletes learn how to eat, hydrate, and prepare like pros.
Mental Conditioning
Through visualization, mindset training, and goal setting, we coach athletes to build mental toughness and leadership—the kind that separates average from elite when it’s 4th and goal.
