
Player Code of Conduct | Bullitt Football
As a Bullitt football player, there are certain expectations and responsibilities that you are expected to uphold. These guidelines, often referred to as a code of conduct, are put in place to ensure the integrity of the sport and to promote a positive and respectful environment for all players, coaches, officials, and fans.

1. Academic Excellence: As a Bullitt football player, you are expected to prioritize your academic responsibilities. This includes attending classes, completing assignments, and maintaining good academic standing.
2. Sportsmanship and Fair Play: Bullitt football players are expected to demonstrate good sportsmanship and fair play both on and off the field. This includes treating opponents, officials, and teammates with respect, following the rules of the game, and accepting both victories and defeats graciously.
3. Personal Conduct: You are expected to conduct yourself in a manner that reflects positively on yourself, your team, and your college. This includes avoiding behavior that is detrimental to your reputation or the reputation of the program, such as substance abuse, criminal activity, or engaging in any form of harassment or discrimination.
4. Compliance with UIL and League/Tournament rules: Bullitt football players must adhere to the rules and regulations set forth by any league or tournament they are participating in. This includes rules related to eligibility and date of birth.
5. Team Commitment: As a member of a Bullitt Football Academy you are expected to prioritize the goals and objectives of the team. This includes attending all practices, meetings, and team events, putting forth your best effort during games and practices, and supporting your teammates both on and off the field. Don't count your reps, make your reps count.
6. Health and Safety: Bullitt football players must prioritize their health and safety. This includes following proper training and conditioning protocols, reporting any injuries or health concerns to the appropriate medical staff, and adhering to any guidelines or protocols related to player safety.
7. Social Media and Public Relations: As a Bullitt football player, your actions and statements on social media and in public can have an impact on your team and college. You should use social media responsibly, avoiding any posts or comments that could be considered offensive, disrespectful, or detrimental to your team reputation.
8. Compliance with Team and Coaching Policies: Bullitt players are expected to comply with any team or coaching policies that are put in place to promote team unity, discipline, and success. This may include guidelines related to practice attendance, dress code, team rules, and conduct during team travel.
9. Leadership and Role Model Behavior: As a Bullitt football player, you have the opportunity to be a leader and a role model for others. You should strive to demonstrate positive behavior, integrity, and a strong work ethic both on and off the field, inspiring others to do the same.
