Parent Code of Conduct | Bullitt Football
At Bullitt Football Academy we have a parent code of conduct that we expect all parents to adhere to. This code of conduct is designed to create a positive and respectful environment for all participants, including players, coaching, officials, and other parents. Here are some key points from our parent code of conduct.

1. Support and Encouragement: Parents should support and encourage their child's participation in youth football. This includes attending games and practices, providing transportation, and being actively involved in their child's football experience.
2. Respect for Coaches and Officials: Parents should show respect for coaches and officials at all times. This means refraining from yelling, arguing, or criticizing their decisions. If you have concerns or issues, address them in a respectful and appropriate manner.
3. Positive Communication: Parents should communicate with coaches and other parents in a positive and constructive manner. Avoid gossip, rumors, or negative comments that can create a toxic environment.
4. Sportsmanship: Parents should model good sportsmanship and encourage their child to do the same. This includes respecting opponents, officials, and the rules of the game.
5. Safety and Health: Parents should prioritize the safety and health of their child. This includes ensuring they have the necessary equipment, following safety guidelines, and addressing any injuries or health concerns promptly.
6. Fair Play and Equal Opportunities: Parents should support fair play and equal opportunities for all players. This means not advocating for special treatment or unfair advantages for their child.
7. Attendance and Punctuality: Parents should ensure their child is punctual and attends all practices, games, and team events. This shows commitment and respect for the team and coaches.
8. Financial Responsibility: Parents should fulfill their financial obligations to the youth football organization. This includes paying registration fees, purchasing required equipment, and contributing to team expenses as agreed upon.
9. Conflict Resolution: If conflicts or issues arise, parents should follow the appropriate channels for resolution. This may involve speaking with the coach, team manager, or organization officials.
10. Role Model Behavior: Parents should be positive role models for their child and other players. This includes demonstrating good behavior, respect, and integrity both on and off the field. By adhering to this parent code of conduct, we can create a supportive and enjoyable environment for all participants in our football organization.
